The European Association of Urology has turned 50! This jubilee publication takes a look at the EAU’s major projects and achievements in that period, in a series of interviews with some prominent figures from its history and its future. The book also contains overviews of congresses and publications over the years, all tied together by a timeline that also offers historical context as the EAU developed into the association that it is today.

About the author:

Loek Keizer (1986) has worked as an Editor in the EAU’s Communications Department since 2011. He is a graduate of the University of Amsterdam and has degrees in Contemporary History and International Relations.

Loek has various duties including providing coverage of the EAU’s events, promoting its activities and doing a lot of proofreading. He is also closely involved with the EAU’s History Office, offering logistical and editorial support as well as a(n) historian’s perspective.
